1. Purpose of this information notice
This information notice concerns the processing of data carried out by Silomar S.p.A. (hereinafter, for brevity, also “SILOMAR”) with regard to the personal data collected when requesting registration to its website www.silomar.it and/or during subsequent access sessions, and is limited to the data provided within the Website itself.
2. Liability limitations
Except where otherwise required by law, Silomar S.p.A. cannot be held liable in any way for damages of any kind caused directly or indirectly by access to the Website, by the inability or impossibility to access it, by reliance on the information contained therein, or by their use.
SILOMAR reserves the right to modify and/or update the contents of the Website, including this information notice, at any time and without prior notice.
3. Nature of the data, purposes, and processing
Data voluntarily provided
Silomar S.p.A. collects and processes the personal data voluntarily provided by the User when registering on the Website and/or during subsequent contacts for communications, requests for information, etc.
Such data include the User’s name, address, email address, telephone number, fax number, and any other information voluntarily provided by the User, as well as data relating to the User’s use of the Website.
Browsing data
Silomar S.p.A. also processes the User’s browsing data, which are exchanged with the IT systems responsible for managing the Website and result from the use of standard Internet communication protocols.
The category of “browsing data” includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by Users connecting to the Website, as well as other parameters relating to the User’s operating system and IT environment.
Browsing data may be used, at the request of the competent judicial authority and with the safeguards established by law, to determine liability in the event of cybercrimes committed against the Website or through it.
Except in such cases, browsing data are collected, processed, and stored by SILOMAR in anonymous form, solely for the purpose of obtaining statistical information on the use of the Website and verifying its correct operation.

Access to such data is limited to authorised personnel with their own authentication credentials, and all necessary security procedures have been implemented to protect the data from breaches by unauthorised individuals.

5. User rights
SILOMAR recognises the User’s rights under Article 7 of the Italian Privacy Code (Legislative Decree 196/2003), including, in particular: the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning them exist; to know their content and origin; to verify their accuracy; and to request rectification, updating, or erasure of the data if they are incomplete, incorrect, or collected in violation of the law.
The User also has the right to object, on legitimate grounds, to the processing of their data by submitting a request to the Data Controller.
