Silomar S.p.A. is a coastal storage facility for category “C” chemical products, non-toxic substances with a flash point above 61°C, such as:
- Vegetable oils
- Biodiesel
- Glycols
- Petrochemical products
- Organic and Inorganic chemical products, both corrosive and non corrosive.

Tailor-made contracts for every need
Silomar S.p.A. offers flexible storage solutions: long-term or spot contracts, with rates based on dedicated storage capacity, type and volume of handling operations, and additional services (heating, nitrogen inserting, blending, denaturation). Each product is managed in full compliance with its chemical–physical properties and with the client’s specific protocols.
Vessel unloading / loading
Direct connection to the sea
The terminal is connected to 5 berthing points through several stainless-steel pipelines. The terminal can operate 24/7, except for five days per year (January 1st, Easter, May 1st, August 15th, December 25th). Operations are carried out by qualified personnel, with flow rates of up to 300 tons per hour.

Controlled road logistics
The facility has 7 loading areas, managed through barcode and magnetic-badge systems to ensure operational safety. All weighing and loading/unloading phases are carried out by specialized personnel and supported by adequate IT systems, ensuring precision, speed, and safety.
Rail tanker loading / unloading
Direct rail network access
The internal railway siding, 215 meters long, allows the simultaneous unloading of 10 wagons and the simultaneous loading of 2 wagons, with automatic weighing and dedicated pipelines for each product type.
