Located in the Ponte Etiopia basin, the Silomar terminal is directly connected to the berthing quays, the railway network, and the port road system of the Port of Genoa.

Access to the terminal
Connectivity and accessibility
The terminal is easily accessible from the Genova Ovest tollgate on the Autostrada A7 Serravalle–Genova via the Ponte Etiopia Gate, the Passo Nuovo Gate, and the San Benigno Gate, and from the Genova Aeroporto tollgate on the Autostrada A10 Savona–Genova via the Ponente Gate, with dedicated routes for heavy traffic.
Direct connections to the internal railway network and the port road system of the Port of Genoa ensure speed and continuity in logistic flows.
Access terminal Information
Operators authorised by the company to work with the terminal (maintenance contractors, transport companies, etc.) must request permanent access to the Port of Genoa by following the procedures indicated on the website provided by the Autorità di Sistema Portuale del Mar Ligure Occidentale (insert link to the Port Authority website).
Visitors and operators who do not have permanent access will be authorised by the personnel at the port gate for up to a maximum of 5 days, after which they will no longer be allowed to enter unless they hold an access badge.
